Agnieszka Korpyta was born in Kłodzko. She started her piano education at the age of 7. She graduated at Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in a class of Prof. Ewa Pobłocka (piano) and Prof. Maja Nosowska (chamber music).

 

Next she made a postgraduate piano studies at Fryderyk Chopin University of Muisc in Warsaw. Agnieszka is a laureate of first and special prizes in many important national and international piano competitions, and holder of various prestigious scholarships i.e. Pro Bono Poloniae, Polish Culture Intitute and Julian Cochran Foundation.
During her musical career she has worked with notable artists and pedagogues from all over the world including Dang Thai Son, Aleksiej Orłowiecki, Nikolai Demidenko, Tobias Koch, Andrzej Jasiński, Boris Berman, Jerzy Marchwiński, Fabio Bidini, Paolo Giaccometti, K. Popowa-Zydroń, M. Voskresenky.

 

Agnieszka's performances have been witnessed on stages in Poland (Warsaw National Philharmonic, Polish National Radio, Łazienki Royal Park, Wrocław, Kraków and Duszniki Zdrój, Żelazowa Wola) Europe (Italy-Rome-Aula Magna) University La Sapienza, France (“Festival Chopin a Paris” – Paris, Maison de George Sand- Nohant),  Spain, Germany, and South America (Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo).
In 2008 and 2009 she participated in Polish Culture Days in Argentina and Brasil representing most talented polish young musicians.


In 2013, 2014 and 2015 Agnieszka performed solo as a chamber musician in Chile.


From 2013 she take a part of DUO TEMPERAMENTO with chilean pianist Javier Malebran. 

 

Apart of modern piano she is fascinated by 19th century period instruments.


She played on the public presentation of period instruments made by Amerigo Olivier Fadini and Paul Mc Nulty. In September 2018 she became a Semi Finalist of the 1 Chopin Piano Competition on period Instruments in Warsaw.
